Frequently Asked Questions.

🐔 Farming Practices & Welfare

What breed of hens do you have at Future Farms?

We raise Lohmann Brown hens, known for producing high-quality, nutritious brown eggs.

How are your hens raised?

All our hens are raised Cage-Free. They live in well-ventilated sheds with natural sunlight and plenty of space to move freely.

How do you ensure the health of your flock?

We follow strict hygiene SOPs. Our team uses medical-grade disinfectants before entering the sheds to prevent outside contamination.

Do you use antibiotics?

Antibiotics are never used routinely. They are only administered if medically necessary during the first three months of a chick's life. No antibiotics are used once the hens reach their egg-laying period.

🥚 Product Quality & Nutrition

Are your eggs Organic?

We currently follow all organic SOPs and are in the formal process of obtaining our Organic Certification.

What do your hens eat?

Our hens enjoy a healthy, vegetarian-based diet consisting of corn, soybeans, barley, and fish extracts. This balanced nutrition ensures our eggs are naturally enriched with Omega-3 and Vitamin D.

Are your eggs graded? Yes. We eggs are meticulously sorted by size and weight to ensure consistency in every pack. Only the perfect size and color will reach your door. On our online store, all Eggs are between 61-65g in weight

🧺 Collection & Freshness

How fresh are the eggs?

Very fresh! We collect eggs 5 times a day (every two hours). They are dispatched to our distribution team immediately and typically reach your doorstep within 1 to 3 days of being laid.

Are the eggs washed?

No, we do not wash our eggs. Washing removes the natural protective layer (the "bloom"), which can open pores to bacteria. To keep them fresh and safe, we recommend leaving them unwashed until you are ready to use them.

How should I store my eggs?

While our eggs are safe at room temperature for a short period, we recommend refrigeration after purchase to maximize shelf life.

🌡️ Shelf Life & Safety

How long will the eggs last?

  • In the Refrigerator: Up to 2 months.

  • At Room Temperature: 30 days during winter or 1 week during summer.

How can I tell if an egg is still fresh?

We recommend the "Smell Test." A fresh egg will have no scent, while one that has passed its prime will have a distinct odor once cracked.

Are these eggs safe for everyone?

Yes, our eggs are safe for children, pregnant women, and the elderly. We always recommend cooking eggs fully for the best food safety, unless you have a specific egg allergy.
